Senior C# / SSIS / Azure Fabric Data Integration (Remote Contract)

Healthcare Claims Data Transformation | Remote | Contract

We are seeking a Senior Data Integration Consultant with deep expertise in C#, SSIS, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric for a long-term, remote contract engagement supporting a healthcare data migration and transformation initiative. This role requires senior-level development and analysis skills to design and deliver complex outbound data extracts in a cloud-based environment.

About the Role

You ll join a project focused on replicating hundreds of outbound data extracts from a legacy platform into a new enterprise architecture. The environment includes Microsoft Fabric, requiring advanced skills across SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Fabric components. You will work closely with client-side teams to ensure outputs meet business and healthcare data requirements.

What You ll Do
  • Analyze existing extract logic and re-engineer it into SSIS- and Fabric-based processes

  • Develop outbound data files in standard and custom formats

  • Apply C# Console development, Azure SQL, and JSON Notebooks for scripting and data transformation

  • Collaborate with QA and development teams during review, testing, and release cycles

  • Troubleshoot integration issues across SQL and Fabric layers to ensure accuracy and reliability

  • Deliver outputs consistent with legacy extract standards and healthcare compliance needs

Required Skills
  • Senior-level experience in ETL/data integration with a heavy focus on Microsoft technologies

  • Strong proficiency in:

    • Strong C# Console development

    • Microsoft SSIS

    • Azure Data Factory / Azure SQL

    • Microsoft Fabric (including JSON Notebooks)

  • Hands-on experience with healthcare data domains: claims, eligibility, accumulators

  • Ability to work independently and partner effectively with technical teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Third Party Administrators (TPAs) or payer systems

  • Familiarity with file exchange practices in the healthcare ecosystem

  • Prior team lead or mentoring background (nice to have)
