Job Title: Senior Manager Technology
Location: Detroit, MI or NYC, NY or Boston, MA or Arlington, VA or Atlanta, GA (Onsite: Hybrid role, as they will need to travel to Detroit 1-2 times per month to be at the client site)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Job Description:
As a Senior Manager Technology, you will lead the technical execution of enterprise e-commerce solutions, driving innovation, scalability, and efficiency. You will collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver robust platform-based commerce packages that meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade e-commerce platforms.
- Define and execute technical strategies aligned with client business goals.
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring high quality, timeliness, and scalability of solutions.
- Act as a technical advisor to clients, translating business needs into innovative technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams to foster skill development and engineering excellence.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
- Integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.
Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in e-commerce platform development and delivery.
- Deep expertise in leading e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Adobe Commerce (Magento), SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, API-first design, and cloud-native solutions.
- Strong background in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Proven experience in managing complex e-commerce implementations for enterprise clients.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability, and integration with third-party systems.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in leading e-commerce platforms or cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with headless commerce architecture and MACH principles.
- Proven leadership in managing globally distributed technical teams.
- Knowledge of omnichannel commerce strategies and customer experience design.
- Thought leadership in e-commerce through speaking engagements or publications
