Job Description:
Job Title: Process Efficiency Engineer
Job Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Work Schedule: Onsite
Rate: $48/hr on W2, Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to expedite QNs and ECOs, reducing processing time and improving overall efficiency.
Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with engineers and engineering technicians to analyze and resolve bottlenecks in the documentation process, leveraging technical insights and hands-on collaboration.
Trending: Cross-reference QNs data across various criteria and examine to find trends and commonality of corrective and preventative action.
System Management: Utilize and manage relevant systems to track, process, and report on QNs and ECOs, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure all necessary information and documentation are complete and accurate for efficient process flow.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest and drive improvements to existing processes, implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of process changes and provide regular updates to management on the status and outcomes of efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience: Prior experience with SAP ERP and Agile PLM. Prior experience in process engineering, quality assurance, or a related role. Experience with quality documentation and systems management is a plus.
Skills:
Ability to drive change, inspire action, through effective communication and action.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and technicians.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Data trending and reporting experience.
Proficient in using systems and software related to process and documentation management.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Failure Analysis Engineer: Evaluates the electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems and/or integrated circuits, components, sub-components and systems to determine the cause of failure, including the verification of analog and digital performance. Analyzes failure reports and recommends corrective action. Develops methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures.
