PC Technician - Deployment & Support
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused PC Technician to join our IT team. This role is critical in supporting new hire onboarding and maintaining the integrity of our hardware inventory. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and tracking end-user devices while ensuring a seamless experience for employees.

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused PC Technician to join our IT team. This role is critical in supporting new hire onboarding and maintaining the integrity of our hardware inventory. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and tracking end-user devices while ensuring a seamless experience for employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- PC Deployment & Setup: Prepare and deploy desktops and laptops for new hires, including imaging devices with approved operating systems and business applications.
- System Configuration: Load user profiles, configure system settings, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Account Management: Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory or similar platforms, ensuring proper permissions and access.
- Device Reset & Maintenance: Perform system resets, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and apply updates as needed.
- Inventory Management: Track incoming devices, maintain accurate asset records, and catalog hardware in the inventory system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT team members to support deployment schedules and assist with related projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of experience in PC deployment, hardware support, or related IT roles.
- Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with imaging tools (e.g., MDT, SCCM, Autopilot) and remote management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Active Directory and user provisioning.
- Knowledge of IT asset management practices.
- Exposure to enterprise deployment tools and ticketing systems.
