Primary Talent Partners has an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Coordinator here in Charlotte, NC!

Logistics:

  • Job Title: Infrastructure Coordinator - Asset Management & Infra Support

  • Length: 12 month contract

  • Location: Charlotte, NC (Local candidates only)

  • Schedule/Hours: Hybrid schedule | Full-time, 40 hours/week

  • Pay Range: $40-$50/hr on our W2

Job Overview:

The Infrastructure Coordinator (Project Engagement Specialist) will serve as a liaison between architects, internal customers, and technology teams to ensure infrastructure requirements for internal projects are successfully captured, sourced, and delivered. This role supports the evaluation, acquisition, and buildout of IT assets including hardware and software and helps ensure projects run efficiently and meet operational needs.


Qualifications (Required & Preferred):

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or 6+ years of equivalent experience)

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, asset coordination, or infrastructure project support

  • Familiarity with data center and end-user computing technologies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and stakeholders


Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with architects and internal customers to gather infrastructure requirements and define project needs

  • Understand and follow internal processes to ensure compliance

  • Evaluate and acquire hardware/software materials for infrastructure projects

  • Prepare cost estimates, request quotations, and initiate purchases

  • Manage and coordinate the asset build process from procurement through delivery

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may impact asset buildouts

  • Ensure clear documentation and communication across teams to support efficient execution
