Vaco is actively seeking a Technical Support Analyst – Endpoint Engineer II for a direct-hire position with our client in Stamford.

Primary Focus
The position plays a key role in providing hands-on technical support for both end users and core infrastructure, serving as the primary local resource for endpoint-related issues. Operating in a highly regulated corporate environment, this position ensures that endpoint hardware, software, and user access are compliant with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
The technician will also address individual hardware and software issues, coordinate with enterprise support teams, and support the implementation of endpoint policies and tools.

The technician will also address individual hardware and software issues, coordinate with enterprise support teams, and support the implementation of endpoint policies and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of contact for endpoint-related issues including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide Tier 2 support and escalation for hardware/software issues, leveraging enterprise tools and working within change control and compliance protocols.
- Coordinate and implement endpoint deployments, operating system upgrades, security patching, and software installations across assigned locations.
- Support general IT service needs including troubleshooting connectivity, peripheral device setup, user account issues, and access permissions.
- Partner with centralized IT teams (e.g., security, infrastructure, compliance) to ensure local adherence to endpoint security standards, including encryption, antivirus, and identity management policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service tickets, hardware inventory, asset lifecycle events, and endpoint compliance reports.
- Provide executive level customer service to at all levels while maintaining sensitivity to privacy and compliance standards.
Requirements & Skills:
- 4 years in IT support, with demonstrated experience in endpoint management and user support in a regulated environment.
- Broad technical support experience with both user-facing issues and backend endpoint management tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly across departments and seniority levels.
- A proactive, organized mindset with attention to security, compliance, and process documentation.
- Proficient with Windows and experience supporting macOS.
- Demonstrated skills with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, etc).
- Hands on experience with endpoint tools such as Intune, SCCM, JAMF, or similar is desired.
- Comfortable using service management platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, Cherwell, etc).
- Basic understanding of networking, VPNs, and secure access protocols.
