Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Drupal Technical Lead to build, enhance, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications. As a Drupal Lead, you will work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build new features and functionality.
- Customize and extend Drupal modules and themes as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Drupal websites and applications.
- Implement best practices for coding, security, and performance optimization.
- Stay up to date with the latest Drupal developments and web technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Assist with testing and debugging to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Drupal Technical Lead with hands-on experience in Drupal 7, 8, or 9.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience working with Drupal's module and theme development.
- Familiarity with Drupal's API and its internal architecture.
- Understanding of web services and integrations (REST, SOAP, etc.).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like jQuery, React, or Angular is a plus.
- Experience with Drupal migrations and content import/export.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and other DevOps tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with Drupal Commerce and/or other eCommerce solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and deployment strategies.
- Experience with Drupal security best practices.
- Knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and performance optimization.
