Overview:

We are seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support our client with a major system transformation involving SAP S/4HANA and Workday. The role will focus on managing either the Finance/SSM or HCM workstream, ensuring deliverables are met, stakeholders are aligned, and the project stays on track.

Duties:

  • Lead the workstream ensuring all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

  • Coordinating, executing, and managing all HCM-related or Finance, Accounting and supply chain activities, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines.

  • Ensure alignment between multiple workstreams, teams, and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document requirements.

  • Identify and document dependencies and ensure working teams and leadership are informed.

  • Ensure project plans, schedules, and status reports are maintained and updated.

  • Coordinate and manage the activities of internal teams and external consultants.

  • Work closely with Change Management team to ensure engagement of various teams during implementation and ultimately successful adoption of the new ERP system by users.

  • Identify, mitigate and as necessary, escalate risks and issues.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Senior Program Manager and other key stakeholders.

Mandatory Qualifications: (must be qualifiable)

  • 8 years experience in large-scale ERP transformation projects
  • 5 years expereince as a program/project management background with hands-on leadership in business transformation efforts.

  • Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams, and RAID log tracking

  • Background in Finance or Supply Chain; experience with SAP S/4 HANA.

  • Background in Human Resources; experience with Workday.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing ERP systems in the public sector or utility industry

  • Familiarity with Ivalua for Source-to-Contract processes
