Job Title: Mobile Tech Support
Location: East Moline, IL (Onsite willingness to travel including overnight travels. At least total 2-3 weeks of travel per month)
Duration: 11+ Months
Job Description
Mobile Tech Support is responsible for deploying and supporting computer systems to ensure seamless operations across field and office environments. This role includes system installation, software configuration, data migration, troubleshooting, and user support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in desktop support and system deployment, with a focus on delivering reliable and secure IT solutions.
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a PC Deployment Technician or similar role, configure and troubleshoot devices.
Should be comfortable in Travel between client locations (within State and outside Moline States/Outside QUAD cities)
Understanding of Asset management and working with Factories and Users for asset tracking in excel and updating CMDB. Scheduling asset updating as per need
Responsibilities:
System Deployment: Install and configure new computer systems, including hardware and software.
Software Installation: Ensure all required applications are properly installed and updated.
Data Migration: Transfer data from legacy systems to new platforms without data loss.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to deployment and system performance.
User Support: Provide end-user training and support for newly deployed systems.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of deployed systems and hardware.
Security: Implement security protocols, including VPN setup and user access controls.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT and field teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of systems.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a PC Deployment Technician or similar role.
Should understand working skills on SCCM, Service Now, Deployment tools.
Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA A+, MCP)
