Position: Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – onsite required for final interview)

Duration: Long-term contract

 

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, standardize, and mature CI/CD pipelines and modern SDLC practices in a cloud environment. This role focuses on Azure DevOps, reusable pipeline frameworks, infrastructure automation, containerization, and embedding DevSecOps and shift-left security practices across Agile teams.

 

Must-Have Skills:

  • Azure DevOps (ADO) – project setup, Agile templates, CI/CD pipelines
  • Reusable and shareable pipeline template creation
  • CI/CD integration with automated testing
  • SDLC design, mapping, and process standardization
  • DevSecOps and SAST (Checkmarx experience strongly preferred)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/containers)
  • Cloud platforms: Azure and AWS

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Create and maintain reusable pipeline and SDLC templates
  • Integrate security (SAST) and testing into CI/CD workflows
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform and container platforms
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and architecture teams
  • Support and mature DevOps/DevSecOps practices across Agile teams
