Immediate need for a talented Senior Software Engineer. This is a 12 Month Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Merrimack, NH and Smithfield RI (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $65 - $75/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements: -

  • Skills; Java/Spring Boot must have experience with greenfield development (producer API s)
  • ETL framework experience it s API development primarily, but it s a data team with a custom-built ETL framework
  • Must have experience with Terracore, Jenkins
  • All major AWS services
  • Strong communication skills. They will be working across 6 teams (so 6 tech leads)
  • PGAdmin and Insomnia DB tools that are used every day.
  • Python, Karate, Batch
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • 6 years of professional software development and DevOps experience.
  • Experience leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs.
  • Experience with Java Spring Boot web services development.
  • Experience with ETL frameworks, databases and SQL.
  • Experience with DevOps principles and activities.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS services.
  • Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience using source control and pull requests for development in code repository systems including GitHub.
