Pay range:
$180,000.00 - $270,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. General Summary:

Memory System Expertise:
- As a senior memory system engineer, you'll need adeep understandingof SoC memory subsystem architecture and memory technologies, includingLPDDR4/5/6, HBM3/4, DDR5/6 and DDR modules.
- You'll be responsible for researching state-of-the-art memory technologies, close collaboration with SoC architects, and pathfinding new memory platform solutions to impact Qualcomm mobile, auto, compute, AI projects.
- You'll work withSoC platform architecture, DDR IP, SoC Infra/interconnect and other memory-related components and evaluation teams.
- Identify and quantify the value of memory-related quality/reliability RAS initiatives.
Performance Analysis and Debug:
- You'll be responsible for system KPI optimization of memory subsystems in bothpre-siliconandpost-siliconenvironments.
- Identifyingperformance bottlenecksand proposing solutions will be a crucial part of your role.
- Analyze electrical and functional test data to drive into production SOC and system solution decisions.
- You will work with memory suppliers to ensure proper tests are performed, qualification is complete, and issue debug is handled with appropriate urgency.
Programming and Debugging Skills:
- Proficiency inobject-oriented programming(such as C++) is necessary.
- Strongscripting skillswill aid in performance analysis and debugging.
Communication Skills:
- Excellentoral and written communicationis crucial for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
