Description

SAIC is seeking an experienced Military Operations Analyst located at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama to support the Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability (PMTEC) program between the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J7, the United States Army Pacific (USARAPC) and the United States Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) to assist with planning and integration of Component level multi-domain capabilities, systems, equipment, and networks into Joint Exercises.

NOTE: Position is located on Redstone Arsenal, AL.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Assist in development of and monitor operations and live events in support of the geographic combatant command Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Campaign (PMTEC) Plan.
  • Support the development of operational concepts, requirements, and multi-national training events that support PMTEC and Combined, Joint, All-Domain Operations (CJADO).
  • Assist in the development of planning and execution products that necessary to conduct multi-national CJADO live-fire events throughout the USINDOPACOM AOR.
  • Responsible for the global movement of training enablers such as air, land, and maritime targets and emulators.
  • Assist in the planning of multi-national live fire events, to include the targetry, logistics, range safety, and resource deconfliction.
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and integration of Component level multi-domain capabilities, systems, equipment, and networks into Joint Exercises.
  • Identify opportunities where USINDOPACOM J7 can advance Joint Training Readiness.
  • Coordinate with component level exercise planners and training coordinators.
  • Develop briefings and assessments to a variety of audiences and convey information in a clear and articulate manner to Government leadership.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with exercise planning and execution a must.
  • Graduate of unit movement officer's course and demonstrated experience in the movement of DoD assets in CONUS and OCONUS
  • Experience in US military operations and training activities in multi-national partner environments.
  • Knowledge of military planning and requirements generation processes.
  • Experience in planning and the execution of logistics requirements for US forces and assets in a multi-national environment.
  • Proficiency in a second language and the ability to communicate across cultural and language barriers highly desired.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES:
  • Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

REQUIRED TRAVEL:
  • Must be willing to travel at least 25% of the time.
