Job Details

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) required

5+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience with a strong foundation in engineering principles

Experience with fabrication tooling, welding, assembly, and machining processes

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to design, optimize, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes

Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Pro Engineer or similar), SAP, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations

Strong understanding of applied engineering standards and best practices

Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and lift/move 10-50 lbs as required

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that includes welding, industrial equipment, and varying temperatures

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and continuously improve manufacturing processes with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost

Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, routings, and SAP part allocations

Establish process standards and ensure alignment with engineering specifications and production requirements

Specify equipment, tools, and fixtures needed to support new or improved processes

Support day-to-day manufacturing operations by troubleshooting issues and providing technical expertise

Participate in the implementation of new equipment, tooling, or technology into production

Conduct regular audits and evaluate process performance to identify improvement opportunities

Assist with engineering changes, including documentation and implementation into production

Support field or customer-related technical inquiries by providing process-related insight when needed

Engage in long-, mid-, and short-term planning for manufacturing enhancements, equipment needs, and process optimization

Perform data analysis, cycle counts, parts returns, and support off-site shipments when aligned with warehousing-related functions
