Job Title: Senior Data Governance Consultant

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Consultant with deep expertise in enterprise data management, regulatory compliance, and governance framework implementation across large-scale, data-driven organizations. The ideal candidate will have proven success designing and executing governance strategies aligned with ERP transformations, metadata management, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide Data Governance Frameworks ensuring alignment with business strategy and compliance standards.
  • Lead development of data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency, lineage, and data quality across multiple business units.
  • Drive adoption of data governance practices through stakeholder engagement, training, and change management programs.
  • Establish and monitor data quality metrics, KPIs, and governance dashboards for executive leadership.
  • Partner with IT, Compliance, and Legal teams to develop data retention, access, and sharing policies aligned with regulatory frameworks (NIST 800-53, HIPAA, CCPA, FISMA).
  • Manage governance tools and repositories, ensuring proper metadata classification, lineage, and catalog management.
  • Oversee Data Service Level Agreements (DSLA) and Information-Sharing Agreements (ISA) across business functions.
  • Collaborate with ERP and analytics teams to ensure data readiness and quality for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Lead UAT and QA efforts for data governance tool migrations (e.g., Ito Alation, Snowflake governance models).
  • Develop and publish centralized business glossaries, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories to drive enterprise-wide data standardization.
  • Conduct data compliance assessments, risk mitigation activities, and audit readiness reviews.
  • Support enterprise programs on data lineage, metadata enrichment, and self-service analytics enablement.
