Data Analyst / Dashboard Developer

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst / Dashboard Developer with expertise in Power BI, technical writing, Python scripting, and ideally, experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating insightful dashboards using Power BI, moving data from Foundry system to Power BI, and adapting to a rigid project management environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Power BI to create interactive and visually appealing dashboards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in technical writing to document processes and procedures.
  • Apply Python scripting skills for data manipulation and automation tasks.
  • Streamline data migration and dashboard development processes.
  • Adapt to a rigid project management environment, responding effectively to changing situations and priorities.
  • Understand data requirements and ensure alignment of dashboard solutions.
  • Transfer data to Foundry system to Power BI, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for dashboard improvement and optimization.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Power BI with a strong track record of creating impactful dashboards.
  • Excellent technical writing skills for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Experience in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation.
  • Ability to thrive in a structured project management environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • ISO 9001 Certification

Location: Flexible (Remote)

Hourly Rate: $60-75/h (DOE)

Contract Duration: Until end of 2024, with potential extension through 2025
