Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead backend development for mission-critical e-commerce applications and services.
  • Architect and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions using modern technologies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend teams, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to define and deliver features.
  • Mentor, guide, and support backend engineers in their technical growth.
  • Perform code reviews, establish best practices, and ensure high code quality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system availability.
  • Contribute to architectural and strategic planning discussions.
  • Maintain documentation of design, architecture, and technical decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of backend development experience, with 2+ years in a technical leadership role
  • Proven experience in e-commerce platforms and understanding of product catalog, cart, checkout, payments, and profile domains.
  • Proven expertise in J2EE.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms
  • Experience with databases both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API security
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
