Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with strong expertise in Linux, Python, and Ansible to join our dynamic Frontend FIN squad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and automating system integration and testing activities for medium to complex systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring quality, reliability, and continuous improvement within a true BizDevOps agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, plan, and execute system integration, manual testing, and installations for complex systems and projects.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scenarios integrated into CI/CD workflows using Python, Shell, Perl, and Linux/HP-UX.

  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, integrating with BitBucket/Git and artifact repositories.

  • Contribute to the evolution of test frameworks, automation tools, and testing infrastructure.

  • Define and document test strategies, plans, and automation standards.

  • Collaborate with developers to improve software testability, scalability, and performance.

  • Support test environment setup and continuous delivery automation for ongoing projects.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies and work closely with global cross-functional teams.

Key Projects / Areas of Involvement:

  • SEP activities qualifying open-source dependency changes (e.g., libxml, libssh, zlib).

  • FIN Over API Phase 4 Qualification for Output flow and regression suite enhancements.

  • PE IMG upgrades for DVT, FINB, and RP environments.

  • Network kernel parameter qualification for RHEL 8.

  • Regression automation setup for RMA and TM modules.

  • RP release qualification and reusable test automation.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Ansible Playbook creation and integration with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Python Automation scripting and framework development.

  • RHEL/Linux Strong command-line experience, system setup, and test execution.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Java, Selenium, or Robot Framework for test automation.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, Git).

  • Familiarity with test data analysis, test environment management, and continuous delivery.

  • Understanding of BizDevOps and agile delivery methodologies.
