Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Work Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Engagement Type: Temporary Only
Pay Rate: $28/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Wiring Harness Technician to support the assembly and installation of low-voltage electrical systems in a fast-paced, technical environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to build and troubleshoot wire harnesses.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:

  • Low-voltage wiring and harness assembly: Including cutting, crimping, soldering, terminating, and routing wires (e.g., Cat 6, 22 gauge).

  • Tool proficiency: Use of crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and soldering tools (both SMT and through-hole).

  • Schematic and blueprint literacy: Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Certification such as J-STD-001 or equivalent.

  • Experience with access control systems, cameras, or network installations (RJ45, keystones, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Linux or Mac terminal environments.

  • Experience with QA tools such as TestRails or other manual testing systems.

  • Background in aerospace, avionics, or electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience with wiring and harness assembly.

  • Ability to read and follow basic wiring diagrams and schematics.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs with assistance).

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Must pass a full drug panel screening (safety-sensitive role).
  • Should have experience running wire, cutting wire, and setting up wiring for low voltage.
