Responsibilities:
- Own, manage and monitor Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Ensure the health, performance, and resiliency of the virtual environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user and system issues related to Citrix infrastructure, escalating when necessary
- Implement updates and patches to maintain system security and compliance with organizational standards
- Proactively identify and resolve systemic issues.
- Maintain SOPs and technical documentation.
- Communicate changes to operations and support teams.
- Prioritize Keeping the Lights On (KTLO), executing projects, and individual tasks.
- Collaborate on project deliverables with team leads
- Act as a technical resource for operations, audits, and peers.
- Deliver and maintain systems and documentation.
- Mentor and train support teams on technical tasks.
Skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix Virtualization. (i.e. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Cloud.)
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
