Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Mossville, IL - Onsite

Duration: 12+ month contract

Experience: EE Degree + 2-4 years of exp

Onsite: Team is onsite 90% of the time due to nature of work - they're flexible but not hybrid

New Notes: There is a focus on creating wiring schematics for facility and PLC controls wiring, plus PLC programming capability.

Layman's Terms:

This role is with team in TC-G. team oversees general facility maintenance and they also design test-cells that other teams utilize to test their various components. For example, the team will design electrical wiring/stands/apparatus (the test cell) that allows for engine testing. Because they work with so many other teams, the work is ever-changing (but not chaotic) - which is a great selling point. (Also great visibility to internal roles on other teams for future career growth).

This role in particular requires someone with electrical knowledge to help document their building's electrical schematics to be used for tests (low to medium voltage). They will also contribute their electrical knowledge and help design the actual test designs as well. They may also spend time documenting and modeling standardized drawings of their electrical schematics which will then be modified and adjusted to be used for future tests.

Must-Haves:

  1. Electrical knowledge (needs EE degree)
  2. CAD/CREO modeling - ideally of electrical schematics/facilities schematics (AutoCAD okay, doesn't need CREO)
  3. Experience with creating wiring schematics for facility and PLC controls wiring
  4. PLC programming capability
  5. Hands-on and willing to learn
