Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled PowerApps resource to lead efforts in designing and implementing net-new PowerApps solutions and expanding existing applications. This role involves both hands-on development and strategic advisory responsibilities, working with clients to transform business processes through Power Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PowerApps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, with the ability to integrate these tools seamlessly with Azure services and other Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade PowerApps solutions (Canvas and Model-driven apps) from requirements gathering through production deployment
  • Lead Power Platform architecture discussions and provide technical advisory services to clients and internal teams
  • Build and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes and system integrations
  • Develop custom connectors, plugins, and controls using C#, .NET, and JavaScript when out-of-the-box functionality is insufficient
  • Design and implement data models in Dataverse, ensuring proper security, relationships, and performance optimization
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Implement Application Lifecycle Management practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and solution packaging across development, test, and production environments
  • Troubleshoot complex Power Platform issues and provide ongoing technical support
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft security standards and client-specific security policies
  • Document technical specifications, best practices, and deployment procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive expertise in Power Platform including PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and PowerFX
  • Strong experience with PowerBI integration, SharePoint, and Azure Active Directory
  • Proficiency in API integration including REST APIs, custom connectors, and various authentication methods
  • Experience with Azure Services integration including Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and API Management
  • Strong programming skills in JSON, XML, JavaScript, C#, and .NET for custom development
  • Expertise in data modeling, including designing relational structures and implementing security models
  • Deep understanding of Power Apps application architecture and UI/UX design best practices
  • Experience defining and configuring security roles and permissions
  • Proven track record implementing ALM practices for Power Platform solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple client projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400)
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI Builder
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps for Power Platform deployments
  • Experience with PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) development
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and advanced analytics
  • Experience in enterprise environments with complex governance requirements
  • Background in business process automation and digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in Power Platform projects
