Role: Java FS Developer

Location: South San Francisco, CA (3 Days onsite in a week)

Duration: 6 months (With Possible extension)

Job Description

Position Overview: Twist is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to maintain and enhance their multi-repository e-commerce platform and internal tools. The ideal candidate is highly versatile, capable of working across different stacks, and experienced in building scalable applications within a modern microservices environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain frontend and backend systems across multiple repositories.
  • Build responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript primarily.
  • Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java, Python, and Node.js.
  • Create and document APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Work with containerized applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Drone CI).
  • Monitor application performance and debug issues using logging and metrics tools.
  • Integrate and maintain payment processing systems (e.g., Stripe).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and DevOps.
  • Manage codebases effectively using Git.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and system integrations.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, EKS, Cost Explorer, WAF, Bedrock).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce APIs (SFDC) integration is preferred.
