Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (EKS & Cloud Networking)

Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite)

Type: Fulltime Position

Job Description:

  • Develop and establish process, procedure and automation to support AWS based environments.
  • Should be able to enter inside EKS which means network policy, karpenter, Security policy, Istio, etc.
  • Design, Develop, Implement AWS EKS Clusters
  • Design, Develop and implement and maintain robust security policies as per Compliance
  • Optimize Kubernetes Workload for efficient autoscaling using Karpenter.
  • Good Experience in Calico , Cilium, OPA, Kyverno
  • Hands-on Experience in AWS cloud technology
  • Understanding of DevOps patterns consist of and how to implement/define them.
  • Experience in EC2 and VPC configuration
  • Design, Develop and implement strong Network policies.
  • Experience with networking principles and technology (DNS, Load Balancer, Reverse Proxies, etc..)
  • Hands on Experience in terraform, ansible, GitLab skills
  • Experience with automations
  • Proficiency working with container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
  • Familiarity with HA and DR principals and patterns
  • An ability to articulate fundamentals of cloud security best practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot cloud operation issues with knowledge of IP networking, DNS, TGW, Security Group, Linux operating system.
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.
  • Develop and promote infrastructure technology standards through automation and service-based deployments in AWS cloud.
  • Create and Maintain CI/CD pipeline
  • Strong knowledge/Hands-on Python , Bash
  • Experience with agile process for PM, development and tracking.
  • Document and drive issues through resolution, escalating to stake holders and IT management as necessary.
  • Awareness of on-premises virtualization technology
