Position: Semiconductor Design Engineer

Location: Folsom, CA

Duration: 6+ months

What's the Job?

Perform semiconductor design engineering assignments including engineering and designing chip layout circuits.

Conduct circuit checking, documenting specifications, and modifying and evaluating semiconductor devices and components.

Review product requirements and logic diagrams for device definition.

Take responsibility for projects, or portions of projects, to design, fabricate, modify, and evaluate semiconductor devices and components.

Drive and influence signaling, power rail/bump-pattern, ESD definition, package design, and board design.

What's Needed?

10+ years of experience in semiconductor design engineering.

Strong background in IO definition, clocking, and voltage domain crossing.

Ability to understand and drive floor-planning and its implications to IO design and physical/electrical requirements.

Experience in custom data-path definitions and power-efficient designs.
