Due to growth, we are adding a Manufacturing Engineer to our team in Glendale! In this role, the individual will play a key part in streamlining production by optimizing procedures, applying advanced CAM software, and introducing innovative technologies and equipment to elevate manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities:
1. Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyzing and planning work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designing layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Applying statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
4. Supporting the inspection process to ensure high quality products.
5. Providing accurate quoting and job cost estimation to assist in the financial planning of projects.
6. Using ERP systems to manage and monitor work in progress.
7. Utilizing CAM software.
8. Collaborating with design engineering and other functions to ensure effective production methods.
9. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and leading initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, experience in the aerospace sector is a plus.
2. Experience with process implementation
3. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to apply statistical methods to work issues.
4. Experience with CNC Machining and programming
5. Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
