Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $89.80 - $91.80/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Responsibilities:
- This is a high-impact project requiring an experienced professional who can work independently while collaborating with various stakeholders including creative teams, content managers, and technical staff.
- This project focuses on improving the infrastructure of our AWS based content management systems.
- This role will evaluate current deployment solutions and and work with the team to optimize and automate, deployment pipelines, security updates, monitoring and alerting solutions.
Qualifications:
- Expert in AWS infrastructure systems (RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation, Lambda etc)
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Python, Ruby, Go, Java, C++, C#, or Rust
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing
- Experience designing and developing large-scale, distributed software applications, tools, systems and services
Desired Skills:
- Experience with large-scale content management systems
- Experience with systems architecture and design
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience in communicating with other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
