Role: Senior Oracle EBS Technical Specialist
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 8+ months contract

Overview
Looking for a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Specialist (R12.2.10) with strong hands-on expertise in APEX, Java, OAF, PL/SQL, SQL, Web-ADI & Workflow. Role provides technical/functional support for Oracle EAM, SCM & Inventory modules and works closely with business users and a large support team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily technical & customer support for Oracle EAM, SCM & INV modules.
  • Perform design, development, enhancements, and implementations within EBS R12.2.10.
  • Troubleshoot issues and work with Oracle Support (SRs).
  • Collaborate with business to gather requirements & translate into technical solutions.
  • Configure, test, and deploy Oracle EBS components.
  • Support UAT, change management, documentation, SOX controls, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain and document customizations, extensions, and integrations.
  • Act as backup for EAM, SCM & Inventory modules.
  • Contribute to Oracle upgrade activities (12.2.10 12.2.15).

Technical Environment

  • Oracle EBS R12.2.10 (upgrade to 12.2.15 underway)
  • Oracle DB 12c | Linux (64-bit)
  • Tools: APEX, Java, OAF, PL/SQL, SQL, Web-ADI, Workflow, Toad, SQL*Plus

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years IT experience in development & support.
  • 3 5 years Oracle EBS (EAM, SCM, INV).
  • Strong hands-on with APEX, Java, OAF customization, PL/SQL, SQL, Workflow, Web-ADI.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Must work onsite in Houston.
  • Experience covering both technical + business analyst responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2.10+.
  • Background in Computer Science / MIS / CIS.
  • Knowledge of Oracle AOL, SOA, and full SDLC practices.
  • Experience in upgrades, implementations, and production support.
