Job Description:
Apex Systems is hiring for a Level 2 or Level 3 Quality Engineer for one of our top clients in North Charleston, South Carolina.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes , lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Charleston, South Carolina location.

Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze engineering documentation to determine process capability and conformance
- Perform data analysis of defect trends and present findings and recommendations
- Lead projects to identify root cause and eliminate defects and rework
- Execute quality build plan changes
- Recommend corrective actions to address non-conformances
- Perform engineering change review and verification
- Continuous improvement of quality engineering processes
Required Qualifications
- ABET accredited engineering degree
- 3+ years experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or another regulated industry
- 3+ years experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution processes
- 3+ years experience collecting, organizing and analyzing data, summarizing findings, and developing conclusions
- 3+ years experience managing projects with cross-functional stakeholders and teammates
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working in a Quality Engineering or other production engineering job role
- Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
- Experience with analytics tools & software
- Proactive and collaborative mindset with an emphasis on positive relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
