Job Title: Product Owner Intermediate (ServiceNow SPM)
Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Hybrid: Onsite M-W)
Client: Meijer (IT Department)
Rate: $60/hr (Max)
Duration: Long-term Contract
Preference: Local candidates preferred due to hybrid setup
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with 2 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). The ideal candidate will help build and improve SPM capabilities, act as a strategic bridge between business and technical teams, and deliver high-value features aligned with Meijer's portfolio goals.
Responsibilities: Product Ownership:-
Organize and manage the product backlog with clear priorities.

Refine user stories and define acceptance criteria.

Enhance modules: Demand, Resource, Enterprise Agile Platform (EAP), and Waterfall.

Deliver improvements in dashboarding and reporting.

Oversee the complete SPM feature lifecycle from ideation to deployment.

Ensure all documentation reflects current processes and system state.

Manage testing plans and execution for bi-annual upgrades.

Work directly with stakeholders, architects, developers, and Scrum Masters to gather and convert requirements.

Conduct product demos and collect feedback for enhancements.

Act as Subject Matter Expert for ServiceNow SPM configuration and customizations.

Collaborate with development on technical design using ServiceNow best practices.

Lead and coordinate UAT and other testing phases for quality assurance.

2 5 years of experience on the ServiceNow platform, specifically with SPM modules.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist SPM

Agile certifications: Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist, or Kanban System Design

Strong knowledge of SPM modules: Portfolio, Demand, and Resource Management

Familiarity with Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe

Experience with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and reporting/analytics tools

Define product vision and roadmaps.

Collaborate with clients/users to translate needs into actionable requirements.

Monitor and evaluate product development at every stage.

Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and product sprints.
