What will you be doing?
The Financial Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing and supporting the financial process for a variety of customer lab projects and programs in the ATC (Advanced Technology Center).
As a Financial Project Coordinator, you will play a key role on a team dedicated to supporting customer and OEM testing engagements in the ATC. You will be exposed to all of the innovation the ATC ecosystem has to offer and will become a trusted advisor to WWT account teams, and our PMO (Project Management Organization).
Responsibilities:
- 1-2 years of Project Coordination/Project Management experience required
- Exposure to technology projects and project management
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience
- Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- MS Project experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of financial processes; ability to understand, analyze and create financial reports
- Understanding of project management industry standard framework and the development life cycle
- Ability to work independently and aggressively track project financials
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate well with customers and co-workers (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Strong team building skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
- Tracking and understanding financial documentation deliverables for multiple projects
- Must be familiar with project scope and project objectives to effectively assist in coordinating the activities of the team
- Assist with or manage the oversight of all aspects of project financial life cycle to include project initiation and understanding funding mechanisms
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Excel
- Follow best practices and ensure that financial requirements are met and documented
- Document project financial risks, assumptions, and constraints and aid in implementing approved actions and workarounds designed to mitigate project financial risk events
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to identify and quantify variances
- Document measurement criteria for success with the help of Project Managers or Lab Services Leadership
- Assist in managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Ensure that all financial issues are captured, resolved and that resolutions are documented and communicated
