Job Summary:
A detail-oriented and technically skilled Envizi Configuration and Data Integration Specialist to implement and configure IBM s Envizi sustainability platform. The specialist will work with an Envizi Architect to configure the system to reflect the client s organizational structure by mapping and integrating data sources and managing the historical data load to ensure a clean and accurate starting point for ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Configuration Plan & System Configuration
- Develop account styles for different data types (e.g., energy, water, waste).
- Configure the Envizi platform to accurately reflect client-specific organizational hierarchies and operational structures.
- Load and validate location data, ensuring alignment with reporting and analysis needs.
- Set up interval meters and other data capture mechanisms to support automated data collection and analysis.
Ongoing Data Process
- Perform comprehensive data mapping to identify all relevant data sources, formats, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement data collection automation opportunities.
- Develop and maintain an Ongoing Data Plan (ODP) to support continuous data ingestion and validation.
- Deliver user training for data entry processes and quality assurance.
- Confirm platform readiness upon completion of data integration activities.
Historical Data Load
- Review existing client data and assess formatting or transformation needs for successful upload into Envizi.
- Load historical data into Envizi using structured processes and QA validation checks.
- Reconcile uploaded data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency using data integrity reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience using Envizi for data configuration, systems integration, and sustainability reporting
- Proficiency in working with large datasets, data mapping, and data validation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with utility data, interval meter systems, and sustainability KPIs.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks and sustainability metrics.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and data integration tools.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams including IT, sustainability, and operations.
