Job Details
We are seeking a highly experienced Software Architect with deep expertise in legacy modernization and cloud transformation. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience leading large-scale architecture initiatives, with strong technical acumen across C programming, Linux internals, Oracle databases, and AWS services.
You ll play a key role in designing, modernizing, and integrating complex enterprise systems enabling scalability, reliability, and performance across critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution design and modernization of monolithic legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native architectures.
- Architect and implement active-active, multi-site environments with high availability and resilience.
- Drive modernization through AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, Batch, IAM, Networking, Security).
- Oversee OS upgrades, compiler-level fixes, and system porting to enhance performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to advance CI/CD automation, Git migration, containerization, and observability.
- Partner with business and engineering stakeholders to ensure architecture alignment and delivery excellence.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance across engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in software architecture and solution design.
- Strong hands-on experience with C, Linux internals, Oracle databases, and monolithic system integration.
- Proven expertise in AWS architecture and cloud-native design.
- Experience with active-active, multi-site architectures.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Git, containerization, monitoring).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in automotive or other regulated industries preferred.
