Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer with 12+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex environments, leading technical initiatives, and ensuring high availability and performance of systems across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, deployment, and administration of enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, networking, and security systems.
• Develop and implement high-availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage and optimize hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud).
• Ensure security compliance, patch management, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure integration with applications and services.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and reliability using advanced monitoring tools.
• Provide senior-level troubleshooting and escalation support for critical issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, processes, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years of progressive experience in System Engineering, Systems Administration, or related roles.
• Expert-level proficiency in Windows and/or Linux server administration.
• Strong experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• In-depth understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
• Skilled in monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.).
• Security certifications (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, etc.).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience leading technical teams or projects.
