Technical Data Designer (Data Specialist)

The Boeing Global Services (BGS) and the Product Support Engineering team is seeking an Experienced-Level Technical Data Designer to support our F-18 program in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
The successful candidate for this position will develop, analyze, collect, and store various system support technical data elements and specifications to evaluate and make recommendations. Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems.
This role identifies, researches, develops and revises technical publications, documentation, and related data. Analyzes customer requirements to understand scope and required elements. Reviewing technical support publications for technical accuracy, grammatical errors, format and style per guidelines.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires ship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Position Responsibilities:
- Analyzes complex engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures and instructions.
- Collect, research and evaluate source data to develop RADAR system component and system technical publications according to specifications.
- Develop multiple publication elements for all levels of maintenance for fielded equipment minor systems or sub systems.
- Collaborate with program management, engineering and other RADAR authors to accomplish tasks.
- Participate in or lead in-person and virtual working group meetings.
- Some travel may be required.
- May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.

- 2+ years' w/Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years w/Associate's degree and experience with aircraft maintenance, or 10+ years of aircraft maintenance experience w/HS Diploma.
- Must have Avionics or Wiring background.
- Must have Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and documentation.
- Must be able to work on-site in Fort Walton Beach, FL 5 days per week.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and special program access.

- Associates degree or higher and 5 years' related work experience.
- 3+ years' experience with aircraft avionics maintenance.
- F-18 Platform experience.
