We are looking for a MuleSoft Lead/ Architect + Data Engineer opportunity with one of our clients.

Job Description

Role: MuleSoft Lead/ Architect + Data Engineer

Location: Remote

Type: Contract

Required:

  • MuleSoft Experience: Development and maintenance of MuleSoft Integration components. Following experience with MuleSoft is required:
  • Overall 7+ years of industry experience in Java and integration background & MuleSoft.
  • Hands on experience in working in Mule 3 to 4 migration projects
  • Hands-on experience in building complex integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint platform
  • Deep expertise in API-Led Connectivity using MuleSoft
  • Deep expertise in API Lifecycle Management with MuleSoft
  • Deep expertise in Dataweave
  • MuleSoft MCD (Mule 4) Certification is required
  • MuleSoft MCD Certification (API Design, Integration Professional) is desired
  • Expertise in in working with Mule Run-time Fabric is good to have
  • Expertise in in using Mule best practices
  • Deep understanding in Mule integration patterns Microservices Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications, ensuring robust and efficient system integration.
  • AWS Cloud Services: Utilize AWS cloud services to architect, deploy, and manage applications, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
  • Data Management: Oversee data architecture, including data storage, processing, and analytics, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance the company's technical capabilities and improve existing systems.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business value.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of data management practices, including SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar certifications.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the insurance industry or related fields.
  • Tools and Technologies: Experience with tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Git, and monitoring tools like Sumologic or NewRelic is an added advantage.
