Job Details
Job Title: Autodesk Vault PDM Admin
Location: Manitowoc, WI
Key responsibilities:
- System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain the Autodesk Vault PDM system, including database administration and ensuring data integrity.
- User Management: Set up user accounts, manage access permissions, and control user groups.
- Data Management: Implement and manage data standards, revision schemes, and numbering conventions.
- Workflow Optimization: Design, implement, and refine workflows to streamline processes, improve collaboration, and reduce bottlenecks.
- Technical Support: Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and train users on best practices for using the system.
- Collaboration: Work with IT, engineering, and other departments to meet their CAD and data management needs and ensure system alignment with business processes.
- Data Security and Backup: Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data security.
Required skills and qualifications:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering with min. 6 years of experience
- Proven experience with Autodesk Vault and other CAD software like AutoCAD or Inventor.
- Strong understanding of PDM principles, data integrity, and version control.
- Familiarity with database management and file management systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
