Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Validation Test with a strong background in managing testing teams and deep expertise in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) applications. This role involves overseeing testing activities across multiple EHS modules, ensuring quality deliverables, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction in a fast-paced and regulated environment (such as the medical devices sector).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead test planning and execution across multiple EHS application modules.
- Coordinate and manage offshore QA teams (10+ members) to align with project goals and delivery timelines.
- Define test strategies and ensure successful validation against business and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and manage project timelines, scope, budgets, and resources for successful testing delivery.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to address issues and risks.
- Ensure test traceability, maintain detailed documentation, and drive audit-ready quality practices.
- Utilize tools such as HP ALM, Jira, and other project management platforms to optimize workflows.
- Drive process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance QA efficiency.
- Support continuous integration, innovation, and stakeholder engagement in testing lifecycles.
- Contribute to the organization s mission by delivering high-impact QA outcomes in the EHS and medical devices space.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing / validation, including 3+ years in a test leadership role.
- Proven experience working with EHS applications or similar regulatory/compliance-driven environments.
- Strong command of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., ALM, Jira, test case management systems).
- Familiarity with GxP, FDA, or ISO standards is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage distributed teams and coordinate across multiple time zones.
