Job Title - LEMP Stack Engineer
Location: Waukesha, WI (Primarily In-Office with Occasional On-Site Support)
Terms - Contract to Hire (6-month contract to hire)
Work Environment - Onsite but will be flexible
Rate - $45 to $60 per hour on W2
Conversion Salary - 85 to 110K plus bonus

At Intelligent Video Solutions (IVS), we specialize in secure, enterprise-level video recording solutions for clients in higher education, healthcare, government, and corporate environments.
We are a industry-leading video platform. We're looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy LEMP Stack Engineer to help maintain, support, and improve the infrastructure that powers it.

What You'll Do




  • Administer and maintain remote server environments to ensure the reliable performance of the our platform.


  • Troubleshoot and resolve server and networking issues to maintain uninterrupted video recording and playback for clients.


  • Install, configure, and support our software and associated hardware-remotely and occasionally in the field.


  • Provide expert remote support using your knowledge of servers, networking, and software systems.


  • Configure and test new environments before deployment, including network and hardware setup.


  • Assist on-site technicians with troubleshooting and problem resolution during installations.


  • Collaborate with our product development team by offering customer-driven insights to shape and test new features and hardware.




What You'll Bring



We're seeking a resourceful individual with a solid foundation in IT infrastructure and a passion for solving complex problems:


  • Strong understanding of networking: IP addressing, firewalls, VPNs, and general network troubleshooting.


  • Experience with remote server administration and issue resolution.


  • Familiarity with the LEMP stack (Linux, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP) or similar technologies.


  • Proficiency with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, GoToAssist, Splashtop).


  • Comfort working across multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
