Job Description:
We are seeking three (3) Senior Mechanical Designers with a strong background in Body-in-White (BIW) Tooling Fixtures for automotive body shops. This role focuses on transitioning mechanical design deliverables into controls design, supporting high-quality tooling solutions.
Note: This is not a product design or engineering role.

Job Description:
We are seeking three (3) Senior Mechanical Designers with a strong background in Body-in-White (BIW) Tooling Fixtures for automotive body shops. This role focuses on transitioning mechanical design deliverables into controls design, supporting high-quality tooling solutions.
Note: This is not a product design or engineering role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex engineering projects related to BIW tooling.
- Prepare general specifications and ensure alignment with customer standards.
- Coordinate and support quality initiatives across project phases.
- Ensure all customer requirements, specifications, and deliverables are met.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with peripheral BIW departments and understand their deliverables.
- Customer-facing experience is a plus.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in automotive BIW tooling (light or heavy).
- Strong understanding of mechanical-to-controls design transitions.
- Proficiency in:
- NX (GM/Siemens) - navigation and observation
- AutoCAD - navigation and observation
- Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with GM customer standard deliverables:
- STDS
- WESS
- SPD
- XRWD
Preferred Qualifications:
- Leadership experience in engineering project management.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
