Akkodis is seeking a Consultant for a Contract with a client in Addison, IL. You will collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into optimized SAP ABAP solutions, ensuring seamless integration and data integrity.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour

Consultant job responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze business requirements and deliver optimized SAP ABAP solutions.
- Develop and test custom reports (ALV, Classical), SmartForms, and Adobe Forms while ensuring compliance with SAP best practices.
- Validate and integrate interfaces using BAPI, IDoc, RFC, OData, and ALE for seamless system connectivity.
- Execute data migration strategies using LSMW, BDC, LTMC, and BAPIs, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Debug, optimize, and remediate custom ABAP code to improve performance and adapt to deprecated objects.
- Perform unit testing, support SIT/UAT phases, and ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP development, with strong expertise in ABAP for HANA and SAP Fiori.
- Proven ability to design, debug, and optimize ABAP programs, including custom reports, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.
- Hands-on experience with data migration tools (LSMW, BDC, LTMC, BAPIs) and integration technologies (BAPI, IDoc, RFC, OData, ALE).
