Job Title: Senior Product Owner - Interim to Hire
Position Overview
Korn Ferry is seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Owner to support a strategic transformation initiative for a client in the Property & Casualty Insurance sector. This role will be instrumental in defining and delivering a centralized Broker portal, designed to integrate seamlessly with multiple applications across Underwriting.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in platform and application development within insurance environments and demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity with confidence and clarity. This is a high-impact role supporting a major transformation initiative focused on consolidations, data optimization, and AI-driven enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Broker portal initiative.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, workflows, and user journeys.
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and drive sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers, fostering collaboration across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Owner leading platform or application builds within Property & Casualty Insurance, preferably with Retail or Wholesale agencies.
- Ability to articulate the purpose and impact of past platforms, user groups served, and challenges overcome.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence business stakeholders.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and experience working with Agile development teams.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, take initiative, and build partnerships in dynamic environments.
