Job Title: Lead UAT Tester
Job Description
Acts as a lead tester on the creation, maintenance and execution of test scripts, oversight of execution and defect management and other specialty testing activities in the areas of manual and automation testing, test environments, data conditioning and application specialties specific to Mobile and Online/desktop pages. Identifies and develops ways to improve the quality, capability, or e?iciency of the testing process. Responsible for oversight of day-to-day testing activities of multiple releases supporting varying project scope. Consults on estimations, impact assessment and risk assessment of development changes. Manages the resource allocation and demand of international QA team.

Job Description

Identifies and develops ways to improve the quality, capability, or e?iciency of the testing process. Responsible for oversight of day-to-day testing activities of multiple releases supporting varying project scope. Consults on estimations, impact assessment and risk assessment of development changes. Manages the resource allocation and demand of international QA team.
Responsibilities
- Test Execution Management: Overseeing all aspects of user acceptance testing (UAT) for various projects, including mobile and online/desktop releases and enhancements. This involves executing test plans, scenarios, and procedures, as well as testing system modifications.
- Experienced ALM user comfortable with quickly adapting to new testing platforms and technologies
- ALM & JIRA Utilization: Demonstrating comfort and expertise in using tools like HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
- Payments testing application experience strongly preferred
- Experience testing software using both desktop/online and mobile devices
- Proven track record of delivering results within a highly matrixed, enterprise level QA environment (ideally with a major Bank or financial institution)
- Capable of adapting to both Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies as needed depending on the project at hand
- Comfortable operating in a demanding, fast paced environment with tight deadlines and minimal instruction
- Estimate testing efforts to support defined testing scope/timelines
- Ensure proper resource allocation is maintained to support efforts within funding limits
- Foster collaboration between different teams for successful releases
- Analyze testing results and other data to ensure continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
- Mentor members of the team in software development, testing methods, and analysis
- Comfortable managing competing priorities from multiple projects simultaneously
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Strong skills in Selenium automation testing.
- Ability to perform manual testing and regression testing.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 5 - 7 years of proven experience leading teams, projects, and managing onshore/offshore resources
- Ability to mentor and guide testers while balancing leadership and hands-on execution
- Willingness to execute 4-10 test scripts per week as needed Focus on test execution for UAT digital payments (web and mobile)
- Experience testing Zelle, payments, transfers, bill pay utilized by 55M customers.
- Preferred knowledge of and/or previous experience working with investment and financial products including Retirement/Brokerage, Wires/ACH, P2P, Bill Pay, Digital Transfers/Money Movement
