RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO.
Summary:
This role will partner with stakeholders, development teams, and UX/UI researchers to expand and enhance a homegrown enterprise application used across multiple field operations groups. The analyst will play a critical role in gathering requirements, writing user stories, and ensuring alignment between front-end workflows and back-end development, while helping to re-platform applications for broader usability across devices.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business partners, product owners, and technical teams to elicit, document, and refine business requirements
* Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that align front-end workflows with back-end functionality
* Partner with UX/UI teams to translate user research and workflow designs into functional specifications
* Support solution design discussions by analyzing requirements and providing recommendations
* Leverage Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking deliverables
* Engage with field operations teams to understand current manual processes and identify opportunities for system enablement
* Contribute to testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business and functional needs
* Provide subject matter expertise on assigned application areas and act as a liaison between business users and development teams
* Assist in preparing polished status updates, documentation, and communications for leadership stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related role
* Strong background in writing user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
* Proficiency with Jira for backlog and requirements management
* Demonstrated ability to work across both front-end and back-end systems
* Experience collaborating with UX/UI teams to align workflows with technical solutions
* Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in consulting or in dynamic, fast-paced environments
* Prior exposure to field operations, construction, or large enterprise system initiatives
* Familiarity with mobile and desktop application re-platforming
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and related practices
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
