Job Details

Role: SAP Project Manager

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ (Remote) Duration: 6 12+ months

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager (APM) to lead and coordinate large-scale SAP Programs involving Technology and Service Transitions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP program management, Agile methodologies, and global rollout execution. This role requires exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects through all phases from build and testing to cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

Tools & Technologies:

  • Project Management: MS Project, Clarity PM, JIRA, HP ALM, Excel, PowerPoint
  • SAP Tools: SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) and CHARM for build documentation and transport tracking
  • Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, PMP frameworks

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience managing complex SAP programs/projects through full lifecycle phases.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, HP ALM, SAP SolMan, and CHARM.
  • Strong understanding of SAP cutover planning, testing, and global rollout execution.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with a strong C-level presence.
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and proactive problem solver with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Bachelor s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification (preferred)
  • Scrum Master certification (required)
  • Experience in Consulting Services environments managing distributed teams.

Project Context:

The project has completed the design phase and is currently in the build phase. Testing phases will begin next year, followed by technical cutover in summer, business cutover in fall, and go-live on November 2, 2026, with hypercare support following.
