Job Description (JD)

Role Purpose:
The Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager is responsible for bridging the gap between business goals, regulatory requirements, and technical delivery for a sophisticated, data-intensive platform. This platform includes real-time dashboards, transaction lifecycle tracking, reconciliation, PHI/PII-safe reporting, global search, and self-service tools—all while maintaining enterprise-grade auditability, security, and observability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Translation: Capture and document detailed business, technical, and compliance requirements. Convert stakeholder needs into well-defined epics, stories, and acceptance criteria that are actionable for engineering teams.
• Backlog & Delivery Management: Maintain and prioritize the backlog, define sprint goals, manage dependencies, and track progress against timelines. Ensure that delivered features meet functional, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product managers, UX/UI, engineering, QA, security, and compliance. Facilitate workshops, stand-ups, and review sessions to align priorities and expectations.
• Data & Platform Oversight: Lead the delivery of dashboards, reporting, search, and self-service functionalities. Define data models, metrics definitions, and workflows to ensure accurate, actionable, and auditable information for end-users.
• Regulatory Compliance & Security: Ensure all features comply with healthcare, financial, or other regulated data standards. Work with security and compliance teams to implement PHI/PII safeguards, auditing mechanisms, and logging strategies.
• User Acceptance & Adoption: Plan and execute UAT, accessibility audits, and user training strategies. Drive adoption through self-service enablement and clear communication of platform capabilities.
• Observability & Incident Readiness: Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and audit mechanisms. Enable traceability of transactions and platform events for post-incident analysis and compliance reporting.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify delivery risks, technical constraints, and compliance gaps early. Escalate appropriately and work with teams to develop mitigation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with healthcare, finance, or other highly regulated industries
• Agile delivery expertise, proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration tools
• Understanding of AWS services, integration patterns, and scalable web architectures
• Proven track record of delivering secure, integrated, and user-centric data platforms
