Join our team as a Database Administrator and play a crucial role in managing and supporting diverse database platforms. This hybrid role offers a dynamic work environment, combining both on-site and remote work opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support multiple database platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB.
 - Perform performance tuning, patching, and database builds to ensure optimal functionality.
 - Oversee backup and recovery processes to maintain data integrity and continuity.
 - Develop and maintain scripts for automation using KornShell and PowerShell.
 - Collaborate with internal teams and project stakeholders to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
 - Participate in on-call rotations and respond to DBA helpdesk alerts as needed.
 
Skills
- Proven experience in database administration, specifically with Oracle and SQL Server.
 - Strong expertise in performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
 - Proficiency in scripting languages such as KornShell and PowerShell.
 - Experience using ServiceNow for managing requests and incidents.
 - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
 - Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
 
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQLServer Integration Services and reporting services.
 - Familiarity with database replication technologies such as mirroring and log shipping.
 - Knowledge of Oracle ASM, RAC, and Data Guard technology.
 - Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics.
 - Understanding of Windows/SQLServer Clustering and AlwaysOn Failover Clusters.
