Job Details

What you'll do:

  • We are looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for our Merchandising platform.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of retail merchandising functions including assortment planning, pricing, promotions, inventory optimization, and vendor collaboration.
  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for merchandising tools and platforms.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements from business stakeholders, customers, and user research.
  • Translate business needs into detailed product features and user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
  • Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to launch, working with engineering, UX, and data teams.
  • Collaborate with category managers, buyers, planners, and pricing analysts to understand their needs and drive adoption.
  • Drive data-informed decisions through KPIs, experiments (A/B testing), and feedback loops.
  • Champion platform scalability, automation, and integration across merchandising and supply chain systems.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and emerging trends in retail tech to guide innovation and differentiation.


What you know

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in retail or merchandising domain.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising workflows category management, pricing, promotions, item onboarding, and vendor negotiations.
  • Demonstrated success in launching B2B/B2C retail or enterprise applications.
  • Ability to define and drive cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tools like SQL, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
  • Experience with retail platforms such as SAP, Oracle RMS, or custom merchandising systems.
  • Knowledge of modern retail ecosystems eCommerce, Omni-channel planning, and AI/ML-driven pricing and assortment optimization.

Education

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
