Walker Healthforce is seeking a Health Coordinator with 1 year of managed care experience to support a healthcare client based out of Albuquerque, NM. This is a 5-month contract opportunity.
START DATE: June 2, 2025
HOURS/SCHEDULE: M-F; 8AM - 5PM

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Health Coordinator with 1 year of managed care experience to support a healthcare client based out of Albuquerque, NM. This is a 5-month contract opportunity.

WORKER TYPE: Full-Time
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 year of college and 2 years experience with automated systems
- OR 3 years experience with automated systems.
- 1 year experience with managed care system(s).
- Experience coordinating member needs, providing assistance to members, and analyzing member needs.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and managed care claims systems.
- PC proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.
- Customer service skills and verbal and written communications skills including developing written correspondence to members and to other department personnel and coaching skills to educate members on medical issues.
WE CONSIDER IT A BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- College courses in computer science or the medical field.
- Experience conducting research.
- Performing data entry.
- Prior experience responding to inquiries from members.
- Experience supporting clinicians in the Medical Management department with their provider and member activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contacting members to inform and educate them on our medical management programs.
