Job Title: Microsoft Alliance Leader Cloud Services

Reports To: Head of Global Cloud and Partnerships
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Microsoft Alliance Leader to own and grow our strategic relationship with Microsoft. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a joint go-to-market strategy with Microsoft to drive cloud services revenue, expand our co-sell motion, and maximize the value of our partnership across Azure and other Microsoft cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Alliance Management:
    • Serve as the primary liaison between Hexaware and Microsoft s alliance teams (Partner Development Managers, Partner Sales Execs, etc.).
    • Develop and nurture executive relationships across Microsoft field and corporate teams.
    • Manage alliance governance, joint business planning, and quarterly reviews.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution:
    • Create and drive joint GTM plans to accelerate Azure services growth.
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales to launch joint campaigns and events.
    • Ensure co-branded solutions are aligned to Microsoft s industry and workload priorities.
  • Co-Sell & Pipeline Development:
    • Drive co-sell opportunities by aligning our solutions with Microsoft s sales teams.
    • Manage co-sell pipeline reporting and work with internal sales teams to close opportunities.
    • Ensure all partner solutions and services are listed and optimized in the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace.
  • Program & Incentive Management:
    • Maximize the company s participation in Microsoft programs (e.g., Azure Migrate & Modernize, Azure Innovate, ISV Success, Solution Partner Designations).
    • Own the Partner Center profile, solution listings, and submission of incentives and funding applications.
  • Internal Enablement:
    • Educate internal teams on Microsoft cloud priorities, programs, and joint value propositions.
    • Collaborate with delivery, marketing, and solution architects to ensure alignment with Microsoft s roadmap.
    • Looking for senior talent - candidates should have established networks & connections in the Microsoft Ecosystem
    • Someone who can be both a relationship manager and bring in new business/sales opportunities through Microsoft relationships/channel
  • Proven Management Experience
    • Experience leading partnerships and building a practice from the ground-up
    • The individual should come from a Microsoft GSI or Microsoft themselves so long as they were in the partner program side of the business
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, partner management, or cloud services business development.
  • Proven track record of managing high-impact relationships with Microsoft, particularly in cloud (Azure, M365, Dynamics).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft s partner ecosystem, co-sell motions, and incentive models.
  • Experience in working with cloud services (migration, modernization, data & AI, application innovation).
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage direct and cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience at or with Microsoft or a top-tier Microsoft partner.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Partner Center, Solution Partner Designations, and the Commercial Marketplace.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
